A commission is a portrait made from the photograph you send, in the style you choose. The digital file, the framed fine-art print and the canvas are the editions on offer. Prices are in pounds sterling, as shown at the time you pay, and include the certificate of authenticity. United Kingdom delivery of the print and the canvas is included. The framed fine-art print includes a classic wood frame, a white mount, and shatterproof acrylic glazing. The canvas is sent without a frame.

You approve the proof before anything is printed. If the proof is not right, do not approve it. Nothing is printed in the meantime.

The portrait, the fine-art print and the canvas are made to your photograph and your instructions. They are clearly personalised. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

The digital file is supplied after the portrait has been prepared. If you download it, you ask for supply of the digital content to begin, and the right to cancel that digital content may then end, as those regulations allow. If the file is faulty, the studio will correct it.

If a print or canvas arrives damaged, write to the studio and we will replace it. A later change of style is a new order.

A gift voucher that has not been used may be refunded on request. A voucher that has been used follows the terms of that order. A note sent through the bespoke page is not a purchase.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Further notes on refunds are on the refunds page. How we use photographs and email addresses is on the privacy page.
