In memory
A portrait in memory.
For a dog who is no longer with you, made from a photograph you love. There is no hurry.
A memorial portrait is made in the same way as every portrait here. It is created with AI from your photograph, then composed and checked by the studio before you see a proof. If it does not feel like them, you can say so. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
The editions and prices are the same as any other commission: digital commission (£95), framed fine-art print (£295) or canvas (£595).
Choosing a photograph
- Choose the photograph that looks most like them to you. Expression matters more than perfection.
- A clear view of the face and eyes helps most. Daylight works better than flash.
- Older or slightly soft photographs are fine. Use the largest version you have, rather than a screenshot.
- If markings or colouring are not clear in the photo, mention them in your note so the proof can be checked against them.
- One dog per photograph works best.
If you would rather talk it through first, you can write to the studio.
