Dachshund portraits

The long back is the portrait. Line is often the clearest way to keep it.

Studio example

A dachshund photographed from slightly above loses the length that makes the breed readable. A side view, or a three-quarter view with the back level, is the useful sitting.

Ink leaves the body as a single contour. Oil is better when the coat is dappled and the colour matters. Either way the edition is limited to twenty-five.

Editions from £95. You approve the proof before anything is printed.
